<aside> 💡
Teams are used to structure people on Jira, to enable easy compartmentalization and dissemeniation of tasks and information. I created the following eams on The CloudSquad’s Jira Workspace based on the structure of the project being worked on. These teams were created as the project bore on.

We took the following steps to create the respective teams on Jira
Sttarted from my Jira dashboard and clicked on Teams in the left-hand sidebar.
Once the Teams page loaded, clicked on the Create team button.

added the team name and selected the relevant team members
After filling in the details, clicked Create Team
The new team was created and is now available to be linked to any task, epic, or project as needed.

An Epic is a group of two or more related user stories or tasks.

I signed in to my Jira dashboard and navigated to the project page. Then, I clicked the Create button at the top.

Since there was only one project on the workspace, it was already selected by default. I then opened the WorkType dropdown and chose Epic.

Typed the Epic name in the Summary field.
Thenscrolled down to add the Description, selected an Assignee, and linked the relevant Team.
After reviewing the details, clicked Create, and the Epic was successfully added to the project.
To view the Epic, went to the Backlog tab on the project page. and clicked the dropdown arrow beside Epic to show the list.
The Epic was created and can be visible by navigationg to the backlog tab on the project page and clicking the dropdowm arrow beside the EPIC.

This dropdown shows the list of Epics. One couldchoose to filter tasks based on a specific Epic or view all Epics on the board by toggling Show Epic Panel.
